This is really just proving how far the technology has come as although we cannot yet power the car as a whole via the sun we can now do bits of it. Well at the moment on the market is something that could attach onto your car that could actually benefit you in several ways. Although you may not think it air conditioning slowly brings down your fuel that you are using during the course of the day which means this solar attachment could seriously helo you out.

Once this has actually been put onto your car you can actually use it to power a lot of the gadgets within it including the CD player.
If you think where this kind of technology will be in 20 years time you will begin to understand the potential to this kind of product. Yea the cover itself is quite ugly and will not actually end up powering thing for very long but if more people buy it then more money is invested into the technology to make it better for the future.
It is unsure if they are going to release this product onto the market or not as of yet but if they do it is sure to start selling to the people who are really interested in these green products.
